The Ultimate Gift,
Robert Thalheimer, Senior Vice President for Advancement, The Community Foundation, Serving Richmond & Central Virginia
A few years back, a little book started something very big. A message that has already prompted people to give to others, connect with friends and family, and help those in need like never before. Every one of us has powerful gifts to share, now we all have the added inspiration, resources and opportunities of a full-fledged movement. Each day, the momentum grows and the impact widens, as The Ultimate Gift continues to inspire thousands, if not millions, of others to share the gift and change the world.

Turning Information into Action: Developing an Integrated Fundraising Operation,
Christopher M. Cannon, Senior Associate - Bentz, Whaley, Flessner
Prospect research and management are essential to effective fundraising endeavors. These valuable functions do not operate in a vacuum and need to be seamlessly involved in all parts of the fundraising process. Our discussion will examine how prospect research and management strategies and tactics can be integrated with gift administration, reporting and database management. This session will also look at ways to improve how your team's research and management turns information into strategic actions for major, annual and planned giving.
